It was really excellent value for money. All in all everything was excellent, had a really really nice stay out of the hotels on our road trip. The staff were amicable and location was particularly good and unbeatable. It was located in a very quiet area near to all of the restaurants, museums, bars, and the Santa Barbara beach.

What a great experience I had at this hotel. Rooms were so comfortable and clean, the Lavender theme in the rooms and all the lavender plants outside on the grounds were just beautiful and pleasing to the eye. All the goodies served just added to this wonderful hotel, I really love the fresh lemonade.Location is perfect, walking distance to just about everything we wanted to do.

This property exceeded our expectations. It was beautifully presented with all the little extra touches one appreciates when travelling away from home. The complimentary wine/cheese in the afternoon and complimentary champagne in our room were most welcome. The gardens and pool were all of a high standard and we would certainly recommend Lavender Inn by the Sea to anyone who is visiting Santa Barbara.

Had a memorable stay on my vacation. The location was within easy walking distance of a nonprofit museum.- There was a GREAT restaurant nearby.- The breakfast was assorted and good, with fab cereals, hot waffles, eggs, cookies, and cheese.

We liked the complementary bottle of Champagne that was in the fridge in our room when we arrived, the free use of bicycles, the choice of red or white wine with Cheese during the evenings where we were encouraged to help ourselves. The choice of fresh fruit for breakfast. Another nice touch was the silk sachets of lavender that was on our pillows when we arrived. The carpets were very thick and nice furniture that was in very good condition.

We wanted a to stay somewhere special for the last night of our holiday and we got exactly tht with this hotel. We booked a standard queen room but were fortunate to be upgraded to the Fireside Suite. This has a sitting room, king sized bedroom and two bathrooms, all beautifully decorated and with solid oak furniture. The hotel provides a luxury breakfast, complimentary bottle of champagne in the room, cheese & wine in reception early evening and milk and cookies at bedtime. A beautiful hotel and we'd happily stay there again - even without an upgrade.

It is close to the Marina and seashore. Breakfast and snacks are perfect. Staff is kind. Rooms are big.
Rooms are a little bit dark cause windows are small.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
